1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

• "Bauhinia Lodge" / "we" / "us" / "our" refers to the residential care home operated at 9 Hing Fat Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong.
• "Services" refers to the Stone Garden Residence, Walking and Wellness Group, Family Transition Stay, and any related support provided by Bauhinia Lodge.
• "User" / "you" refers to any person visiting this website or enquiring about or using our Services.
• "Resident" refers to an elderly adult who has entered into a residential arrangement with Bauhinia Lodge.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions, together with any individual service agreement entered into between Bauhinia Lodge and a family or resident.
• "Website" refers to the site accessible at bauhinialodge.info.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or contacting us to enquire about Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you are acting on behalf of an elderly adult, you confirm that you have the authority to do so. Our Services are intended for adults aged 18 or over. These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong.

3. Description of Services

Bauhinia Lodge provides residential care and community wellness services for elderly adults in Hong Kong. Our current offerings are:

• Stone Garden Residence: Permanent residential accommodation including meals, housekeeping, activities, and around-the-clock staff presence.
• Walking and Wellness Group: A four-morning-per-week outdoor walking programme, open to residents and independent seniors from the surrounding area.
• Family Transition Stay: A short-term residential arrangement (ten days to three weeks) intended to help families consider longer-term care arrangements.

Bauhinia Lodge is a non-medical residential home. We do not provide nursing, clinical, or medical care. Our services are appropriate for elderly adults who are able to manage daily routines with practical assistance and companionship.

4. Enquiries and Website Use

Information submitted through our contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry. Submitting a form does not constitute a binding agreement for services. Service arrangements are formalised separately in writing. You agree not to submit false, misleading, or harmful information through our website.

5. Service Agreements and Fees

Current fees for our services are:

• Stone Garden Residence: HK$13,500 per month
• Walking and Wellness Group: HK$1,950 per month
• Family Transition Stay: HK$5,600 per ten days

Fees are due in accordance with the payment schedule set out in the individual service agreement. Fees cover the services described in each arrangement. Items falling outside the standard arrangement will be agreed in writing before they are provided. All fees are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars (HKD).

6. Termination and Departure

Either party may end a residential arrangement by giving written notice in accordance with the terms of the individual service agreement. For Transition Stays, the arrangement concludes at the end of the agreed period unless otherwise extended in writing. Bauhinia Lodge reserves the right to end a residential arrangement if the resident's needs exceed what the home can appropriately provide, or in cases of serious breach of the agreement. In such circumstances, we will communicate clearly and give reasonable notice.

7. Refund Policy

Fees paid in advance for services not yet rendered will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, subject to any notice requirements set out in the individual service agreement. Where a Transition Stay is ended early by the family, fees for completed days are retained; fees for remaining days are refunded within 14 business days.

8. User Responsibilities

Visitors to the home agree to:

• Sign in upon arrival and follow visitor guidelines
• Respect the privacy, comfort, and wellbeing of all residents
• Follow reasonable instructions from Bauhinia Lodge staff
• Not bring items into the home that may be harmful or disruptive

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, and design — is the property of Bauhinia Lodge unless otherwise stated. You may view and print content for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction, distribution, or modification for any other purpose requires our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimers

Our website content is provided for information purposes only. While we take care to keep it accurate, we make no representations about its completeness or currency. Bauhinia Lodge does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice. For decisions of that nature, please consult an appropriate professional.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Hong Kong law, Bauhinia Lodge's liability for any claim arising from use of the website or our services is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Bauhinia Lodge against any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the website or a material breach of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong. We encourage any concerns to be raised with us directly in the first instance, and we will make every effort to resolve matters informally and in good faith.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
